Walking Boots and Umbrellas Advised!
The University of Glasgow is proving to be a very popular programme venue, particularly because of the specialist topics being covered. This first "themed" Meeting of the Society, based on "Complex Protein Assemblies as Molecular Machines" has three full days of science programmed with eleven 1, 1.5 and 2 day colloquia in parallel sessions.
But, please be warned …… walking boots and umbrellas are advised!
Accepting that the weather may be adverse in April, umbrellas and mackintoshes may well be required!, It is important for delegates to be aware that the attractive campus of Glasgow University is latitude 56° N and spread out. All the lecture theatres and meeting venues are located at a short distance from each other.
The Meetings Office commits itself to ensuring that meetings run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Plenty of signage will be arranged and the Meetings Office will be available to assist delegates.
Delegates residing in University accommodation will be located 20minutes from the campus. However coaches will be provided to transport delegates in the mornings and evenings.
Glasgow will as ever provide an attractive venue for a forum of excellent science and further details will be posted on the website as they become available.
Registration forms can be obtained from either the December Biochemist or the Meetings Office. (Address Below)
We look forward to seeing you there.
