Independent Meetings

Guidelines for submitting a poropsal
Submit a proposal for an Independant Meeting

The Biochemical Society will consider requests for financial support (of between 500-1,000) for Independent meetings which are organized entirely by an outside organization. The Society aims to promote Biochemistry and does not distinguish between the public and private sectors, so as with proposals for all types of meeting, any member of the life sciences community who is planning a meeting can apply for financial support. In return for financial support the Society will expect full acknowledgement and profile. The Biochemical Society and Portland Press would also consider appropriate publishing opportunities generated by the meeting.
