School Teachers

The Society has introduced a new feature to the web site to cater for the needs of Secondary School Teachers. The Society realises that teachers are often under pressure trying to juggle the overloaded curriculum with the needs and desires of the students. These new web pages are designed to take some of that pressure off by providing various different resources and services available to teachers.

  • Find out about our Teachers' Workshops with updates on previous workshops plus those planned for the future.
  • See our range of free resources available through the Society; as well as our online resources available soon.
  • Want to provide more careers material for your students? The Biochemical Society produces a number of free leaflets on careers in Science.
  • The Biochemical Society launched it's Schools Membership category in December 2005.
  • Looking for someone to speak to pupils at your school? Why not browse the Biology4All speakers database
  • Interested in curriculum issues? Find out what the Society is doing with regards to the science curriculum
